This is a follow-on session to " Excel - Power Query – No Code Automation Every User Needs – Part 1" and covers the key advanced features of Excel’s Query Editor, designed to help you transform imported data quickly and without having to learn to code.
The focus of this training is on how to create additional columns without complex formulas and how to combine, merge and unpivot unusable data to make it report-ready.
Who should attend?
This training is aimed at users of Excel who wish to learn about the advanced features of the Power Query Editor. Attendees should already have a good understanding of how to import data and create simple Queries.
Why should you attend?
Power Query / Get and Transform can save you a ton of time when working with imported data. In many cases when you get data from external sources, it needs work on it before it can be used. Although this can be done using Excel functionality, Power Query / Get and Transform is a lot faster and is repeatable with a couple of clicks.
